CCY Architects Wins Critics’ Choice at 2025 Design In Bloom
CCY Architects was honored to participate in the 2025 Design In Bloom event, hosted by Modern In Denver at the Room & Board showroom in Cherry Creek North. This annual spring gathering draws more than 600 design professionals and modern design enthusiasts for an evening of creativity, conversation, and celebration.
Our firm's contribution was led by Partner Maura Trumble, with support from team members Cortney Woller and Matt Armentrout. Their installation, a sculptural cloud of delicate gypsophila (baby’s breath) interrupted by a compact yellow orb, made entirely of vibrant craspedia, explored the tension between chaos and clarity—offering a moment of stillness and focus amid the complexities of our current cultural climate. We’re thrilled to share that the piece was recognized as a Critics Pick by the jury!
Events like Design in Bloom not only allow us to experiment creatively beyond architecture, but also connect with Colorado’s broader design community in meaningful and inspiring ways.
