Simon Elliot, AIA
Principal
With nearly 30 years of architectural experience, Simon brings a rigorous attention to detail to each building he helps create. From design development through construction administration, he manages each project with utmost precision and care. Specializing in private residences for clients with a passion for custom design, Simon believes that architecture should inspire, live comfortably, and energize its inhabitants.
Simon’s approach to the built environment is carefully informed by the surrounding natural landscape. He takes great pride in client services, not only through great design, but also with clear direction and communication throughout the entire process. Simon’s work includes N'Vitale, Maroon Creek Overlook, Bridge House, and Woody Creek. He is currently working on an adaptive re-use project for the City of Aspen. Accolades include numerous design awards, and his work has been included in publications such as Interior Design, Dezeen, Wallpaper* and The PLAN.
Simon received his B.A. in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. Having worked at CCY since 2005, he was drawn to Aspen by a love of the outdoors and feels fortunate to have found a place where he can practice his passion for modern design. He is a past Board President for the Aspen Cycling Club and an enthusiastic participant with a number of championship wins over the years.
