Nick Grover
Designer
Nick was born in Switzerland and raised in Idaho, where he developed a deep appreciation for nature, geology, and biodiversity. He is driven by an interest in sustainable urbanism and the role of design in integrating the built environment with the natural world.
Nick received his Bachelors of Architecture and Masters of Architecture from the University of Idaho. While in college, he studied abroad, in China, where he studied the relationship between ancient rural towns and megacities like Beijing and Shanghai. In an urban design competition, Nick evaluated the implications of changes to the Youyi Road on the economy and residential experience of Xi’an. His contributions placed 2nd, and he was honored with a “Most Valuable Member Award.”
Before joining CCY, Nick worked in Idaho, bringing experience in design/build on custom homes along with a portfolio of large-scale aviation-related buildings.
In his free time, Nick loves to snowboard and spend time with his border collie. A lifelong hockey player and alumnus of the University of Idaho hockey program, he continues to play hockey recreationally.
