Joy received Bachelor and Master of Architecture degrees from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. Since school, he worked primarily in New York City with a focus on bespoke residential and hospitality typologies. Guided by his passion for sustainability, Joy is a LEED Green Associate and earned a certificate in Healthy Materials and Sustainable Buildings from The New School of New York.

Joy joins CCY with a focus on architecture visualization and project documentation. He utilizes his multidisciplinary background to stay inspired. He believes that engaging with photography, design, and architecture offers new perspectives; and the knowledge from each discipline helps to symbiotically elevate the others.

Joy’s design and photography skills have also been recognized. He was awarded first place in the DOCOMOMO United States Architectural Photography Contest. In a digital world, taking an "analog break" and getting outside helps Joy feel refreshed and inspired.
