Daniel Katebini
Architect
Daniel is a fifth-generation Coloradan who grew up hiking the foothills outside of Boulder. His high school summers were spent swinging a hammer on construction sites, fostering an innate appreciation for the detailed execution of projects.
After twelve years in New York City, Daniel returned to Colorado, bringing with him a wealth of experience from working at internationally renowned firms designing world-class libraries, museums, and luxury residential. Daniel is well versed in both real estate development and construction through his experience working for a design-build developer.
Daniel is inspired to design projects rooted in the local landscape. He believes in collaborative design, valuing communication and consensus-building to develop long-term relationships.
Daniel earned his Master of Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis, following studies in Seoul, Florence, and Copenhagen. He also holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Colorado. Daniel has served as a guest critic at Columbia University, Pratt Institute, and UNC Charlotte.
Outside of work, Daniel enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, gardening, and engaging with the arts.
