Cortney Albert Woller, Assoc. AIA

Designer

Cortney is passionate about creating healthy, holistic interior spaces that harmonize with exterior architectural design to support both the occupants and the surrounding environment. She brings a multidisciplinary background in resort hospitality, community, retail, mixed-use developments, and custom residential projects. Trained as both an interior designer and an architect, Cortney’s project experience is diverse, ranging from interior upfits to large-scale master planning.

She is known for developing strong conceptual foundations for her work and is dedicated to carrying those ideas through every phase of a project. Her passion for integrating architecture and interior design is rooted in a deep appreciation for the intersection of the natural and built environments. Growing up in North Carolina, Cortney was inspired by the interplay between historic and contemporary architecture. This experience cultivated a design philosophy centered on embracing constraints, exploring creative solutions that unify the old and the new, and crafting spaces that connect people to the outdoors.

Cortney’s approach is highly collaborative, emphasizing client engagement throughout the design process. She investigates and responds to the surrounding environment, materiality, and user experience to inform her design direction. Her ultimate goal is to create timeless, unexpected spaces that blur the boundaries between indoors and out.

As the leader of CCY’s “Green Team,” Cortney is a strong advocate for sustainability and thoughtful material selection. She has deep knowledge of building materials, methods, and sourcing practices. Recently, she moderated a panel for AIA Colorado West on sustainability and resource efficiency regulations in the Aspen/Roaring Fork Valley.
