Corey Collier, AIA

LEED AP BD+C

Growing up in the desert of Western Colorado gave Corey an appreciation for vast landscapes and great adventures. His passion for design, coupled with a love for the outdoors, motivates him to create highly crafted buildings that connect people, place and landscape. Corey believes that architecture should be informed by environmental circumstances and programmatic needs found by way of a highly collaborative design process.

Corey earned a BA in Environmental Design from the University of Colorado and a Master of Architecture from the University of Washington. He is a licensed architect in Colorado and Washington State with more than six years of experience. The study and practice of architecture has taken him to the Pacific Northwest, Copenhagen, and Sydney.

Throughout his career, Corey has had extensive experience on a variety of project types, including high-end residential, mixed-use commercial, sustainable infrastructure and product development. He was awarded the first annual Bob Hull Research Grant, which funded a project exploring material potentials of forestry by-products that traditionally have had low or no economic value.

Corey’s personal architectural endeavors have provided him opportunities to explore design interests of various types and scales, including the design of an award-winning bamboo and titanium bicycle. When not chasing around his two young children, you can find Corey biking, skiing, hiking, and adventuring.
